The Jonathan Larson Project
Video environments for the Off-Broadway premiere exploring the early work of Rent creator Jonathan Larson. Projections transformed the Orpheum Theatre stage into a living scrapbook of artistic development, from fully realized music videos brought to life on stage, to sci-fi worlds and lush jungles lost in dreams of hope and frustration.
“Twenty vibrant, virtually unknown compositions crafted by the long-lost maker of Rent — lovingly performed by a lively five-member ensemble.”— New York Stage Review
“Still speaks to our current post-modern era and the universal human condition, affectingly brought to life by a cast of stars from the contemporary stage.”— DC Theater Arts
