Broadway Bares

Broadway Bares: Take Off, the 29th annual edition of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' signature striptease spectacular, brought 192 dancers to Hammerstein Ballroom for two sold-out shows on June 16, 2019. Directed by Laya Barak — only the second woman to helm Bares since its 1992 founding — and executive produced by creator Jerry Mitchell, the travel-themed evening featured animation content for the LED walls provided by Ghost Corporeal. The night raised $2,006,192 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
